Slot Car Race Line – Is simply my ruminations on to enhance my slot car experience. I call it Race Line. It’s a collection name/umbrella term for my enhancements. It’s based on the Carrera Digital System. I prefer to use 1:32 cars, but I sometimes use 1:24 cars. I like the Carrera 1:32/1:24 digital track, since it´s actually of 1:24 scale, meaning a bit broader than its competitors. There are however, in my opinion some flaws, that I believe I address with my enhancements called “Race Line“.
The Carrera track parts are quit hard/stiff, comparing to competitors like Scalextric and Ninco. The grip has therefore been an issue, but I believe I address this here. They are also black with a weird looking white centerline, which suggests a newly asphalted street I guess. I felt I needed to do something about this. I want my tracks to look more like an ordinary F1 GP Circuit. I address other issues as well on this site, such as the speed controllers.
